Player List Issues

To which “multiple issues” are you referring to that are related with update from 2.7.16 to 2.7.17?

So searching in the admin side for players, or players lists was broken, ie you couldnt. Player lists would pick a position (probably the first) when you edit and update, it would change all the players in that team. it just so happened the umpire was at the top of our list so editing a player list title or link would turn them all to umpires on the front end, pretty weird stuff.

Creating a new player list the button seemed to change to add a new post and it appeared that any player list created this way would have the sort list by rank and not player number. I found a work around later where if I found a previous player list that was working correctly with player number and duplicated it, it seems to be back to player number but there was quite a few reworks to fix the created player lists.

I guess we were unlucky as we were uploading a large international tournament data so it impacted us a fair bit

I am having this same issue with player numbers no longer showing up or able to sort by them. “Squad Number” no longer shows up. I have a ticket in to pro support for this issue. I have had a few emails back and forth with Roch O. on this….

@craigcotner try rolling back your plugin to 2.7.16?, you might need plugin WP Rollback to do that, worked for me. Note that any new player lists created still seem to have this issue. I just duplicated from a older player list and updated and it seems to have worked
