Player List & Statistics area problems

I have a couple bugs that I need to verify. I contacted the main support like the developers have asked and got no answer.
1) A PLAYER LIST with statistics fields gets updated with saved with values for all players in the list. After that I return to view the actual Player page but none of the statistic fields have been updated with the values. I check back with the player list and all values exist. Shouldn’t all player data being saved for statistic or metrics fields propagate throughout the model?
2) After you select the stat fields for a player, their team, and seasons and save the post. The statistics div appears with the fields and the teams on a menu but the team in the menu isn’t automatically selected, why? It is just another painful step when you have to pick the team and save again. I mean you just picked the team down below along with the statistics fields…especially when the player is only on one team.
Final thing: Do you guys have any simple theme files that show how to work with your API. Seems like you could have a standard plain jane theme like Roots that comes with the plugin with some simple demos.
