Player of the Match awards in Player List

Hello,

I’ve activated Player of the Match in SportsPress (Matches – Box Score) and I’m setting the Player of the Match for each game as seen below:

I’d like to create a column in a Player List called MVP which would show for each player the number of awards received (sum of all Player of the Match instances for this player). I’d expect there would be a built-in variable I could use when creating a new Player Statistic as seen below, however, this doesn’t seem to exist:

Is there any way I can use the Player of the Match functionality without having to add a redundant Player Performance variable as it was suggested in https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/star-or-player-of-the-match/?
