Players and Teams get messed up

First of all I would like to thank you for this amazing plug-in.
It is not only functional but the design is also very nice: great job!

We have only one problem with the player’s function.
Whenever we create players and assign them to teams, they still get messed up in the events page.
Sometimes the players are assigned to the wrong team, sometimes players are completely missing.

Is it a bug or are we doing something wrong?
Please let me know, if there is a certain order we have to save things.
We’ve created the teams at first, then saved some events and have now started to save the players.
