• I’ve been asked if I can embed sound in a way so that music continues seemlessly when the user navigates between pages. An example site to show the effect is:

    https://www.anthonywilsonmusic.com/

I can figure a way of acheiving this effect if I was hand coding the site but I’m not sure if it’s possible within wordpress.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

  • How would you do it out of wordpress? Do it the same way.

Anything is possible in wordpress. It’s just like hand coding but with a CMS for free.

Basically the site you link above uses jquery or similar so you never actually leave the same page.

Set the site up like that or create a pop up window with the sound coming from that – i.e. it is independent of page loads in the site.

    Thanks for your reply,

Using javascript and not leaving the page is the way that occured to me.

But how could I do this in wordpress and still have editable pages through the wp-admin site?
