    Hi,

WordPress and EmbedYT have been running at their latest versions for a while. A few days back though, on our Live page we noticed where our playlist galleries normally are, that underneath it says “Sorry, there was a YouTube error”

We haven’t changed anything. Have Youtube themselves changed their API and you guys need to update EmbedYT to reflect that?

Our embed for the live stream displays fine.

    Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The galleries show now, which means it was likely a YouTube API quota issue. We noticed that you have two galleries and a livestream there. It might make sense to reduce the YouTube API calls on that page by maybe turning on the caching feature if you have the Pro version or activating a caching plugin if you have one. Or, you could remove one of the galleries.

The issue wasn’t an API quota issue. Our website hosting company moved us onto a different IP address which Youtube didn’t recognise and so gave us those messages. The reason why it wasn’t picked up straight away was because the livestream wasn’t affected by the change, only the galleries. Updated the permitted IP addresses for the API and all started working again.
