• Hi, could you please consider adding a feature for WebP Rewriting.

(I saw you already have it in EWWW, but Imsanity is easier because it has much less settings).

    Thanks

Sorry John-Pierre, that is very unlikely to happen. Imsanity is an image scaling/resizing plugin only, and that’s a bit far out of scope.
You can always grab the rewrite rules from EWWW IO if your setup allows for rewriting via .htaccess (no CDN/Cloudflare involved).
And if you want easy, you should check out the ExactDN feature in EWWW IO–it does WebP with zero configuration.

    ok thanks

@jpnl – you might check out WebP Express.

That’s definitely an option if all you need is WebP generation, and don’t care about compressing your existing images.

Thanks, I will have a look. Or I might simply switch to EWWW.

Yeah – I was approaching Imsanity + WebP Express as a solution that ignored the legacy JPG format optimization and focused on WebP being the priority. The two all-in-one solutions I’m considering as alternatives are EWWW IO and Smush. Both seem to have WebP support. Just trying to decide if the cost is worth it for our use case. We donated to both Imsanity and WebP Express last week and will continue donating annually if we go with that combo.
