Please add Multilinguage Support to Sitemap

  • So apparently Google wants sitemaps on multilingual sites to look a specific way, like this:

    See the sitemap section of this page: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/189077

    I’m currently using the out of date Sublingual plugin that’s still the best to make my site multilingual, maybe you could add Open WordPress SEO support for that plugin so it takes the data from that plugin to show a multilingual sitemap.xml

    Or maybe have an option to edit the sitemap.xml directly so I can add the urls directly in the way that Google wants them

    Ok, I will take a look into this issue. Support for the plugin sounds like a reasonable feature.
