please add support for facebook Groups

    Love your plugin for the individual pages feeds. I would like to include the feed of some group I’m admin too… but that does not seem to be supported at the time.

    Could you please add it ? I’m pretty sure that would be a huge feature wrt to the competition plugins (smash ballon’s or others).

    Hi @berteh,

    We used to support FB Groups, however, FB changed their privacy protocols regarding FB Groups and their API. For example, if you display a FB Groups feed and someone in the FB Group with privacy settings enabled posts or comments, then that post will no longer show (via the API). With such a high percentage of FB users having privacy settings enabled, it made FB Group posts nearly impossible to support. It is unlikely that FB will reverse this, however, if they ever do, we would happily add it back.
