As a suggestion, please show the added ads.txt line from adsense in Advanced settings > general > ads.txt . It is not shown, but should be inserted in the field, so user can verify how the ads.txt file looks. Simple WYSIWYG principle.

The UI states “AdSense is added automatically.” – Yes, but I don’t know IF it adds, and WHAT it adds if it works. So show what it adds.

You could ghost it, if you dont want the user to change it.

    Hi minutten,

    Thanks for your suggestion.

Please, take a look below the ads.txt field in Advanced Ads > Settings > General > ads.txt. You will find a direct link to your ads.txt there, where you can immediately check if the AdSense entry is correctly added.

We show this also in the video manual for the ads.txt.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hi @minutten,

Just a quick follow-up. I wanted to let you know that we also saw your point and confusion and started thinking about improving the ads.txt option to make the behavior more clear.

    Thanks again for your input!

Thanks! A wysiwyg display of the ads.txt section would really help, so I can see exactly what line it adds. The whole point is that the plugin writes the line for me, but it looks empty. Again, ghosting would be the way to solve this in terms of UI.

    Thanks for considering this!

Is this already resolved since the status changed?
