PLEASE avoid if you also have SimplePress

I just finished several days of total misery after registration suddenly stopped working on my site. I spent literally dozens of hours combing the web for information about what might be causing it, posting on every forum I could find, following every piece of advice I could dig up, and trying about a million different suggestions, most of them radically different from each other.

Then, I posted the problem on the SimplePress forum, followed their advice, and finally figured it out. WP super cache refuses to play nice with Simple Press. It’s the only possible explanation; I tried literally every other imaginable option. After deleting WPSC, the problem was solved.

I hope that somebody else reads this and maybe avoids the miserable experience I went through. Not every plugin that sounds good actually IS good!
