Please clarify

  • My site was running fine last night and I had some visitors after my last article was posted. Today my site was down.

    When I called my host they told me that it was a server (500) server problem and they will look into it.

    Later on I received a response form a tech that said an installation problem was the reason.

    My question is: how could this be true when my site has been functioning and getting visits for an excess of 7 months? Also, I have two more sites under the same account that give the same server error message.

    Please help. Thank you in advance.
