• Hello:

Although my account is connected and catalog upload works fine but still i am getting the error in logs of pixel caffeine.

“Please, connect your Facebook account to make operations to the custom audiences of your Ad account.”

When i try to disconnect the account a pop-ups appears for mili-seconds and vanishes.

    Hi,

first of all, sorry for the large delay on my response, I wasn’t able to check the forum in this period, thanks for your patience.

Then, that message appears when the permissions you gave during the connection are expired or revoked to the app Pixel Caffeine in your facebook account.

Make sure that the app is present in your account here and it has the right permission of “Manage your ads”, “Access your Facebook ads and related stats” and “Manage your business”.

    Hello:

Yes i checked and all mentioned permissions are already there for the app. Not sure what is wrong in there.

    I have the same problem

    Hi,

please upgrade the plugin to the latest version 2.0.5 that I released today. There are some fixes to the custom audiences due to some deprecated calls from the Facebook API.

Update and let me know if this issue will be solved.
    Thanks.

    I have the same problem:
Please, connect your facebook account to make operations to the custom audiences of your Ad account.
and just realized that this has been going on since at least January 2018.

I have the latest version of Pixel Caffeine, the latest version of wordpress, Pixel Caffeine indicates that it is connected to facebook pixel via the auto method, and I do see statistics in both the Pixel Caffeine graph, and also from within facebook. Plus my Chrome Pixel Helper extension says the pixel is firing. I checked and all mentioned permissions and they are already set for the app.

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting my facebook account but I continued to receive this message afterwards.

the version of Pixel Caffeine you are using: 2.0.6
the version of WordPress you are using: 4.9.8
what shop plugin you are using and what version of it: woocommerce 3.4.5
    Theme: Divi 3.12.2
what browser you are using: chrome 68.0.3440.106 (Official Build) (64-bit)
A link to your site so we can view issues, especially important for issues around pixel firing: https://makerwares.com

    I hope you can help.
    Thanks

    Hi,

sorry for the big delay to reply!
Could you please tell me if you have this issue yet? Let me know, thanks.

    I have the same issue.

I am also having the same issue. Everything seems to be working fine but I get this error

I too am still getting this error. I have been seeing it in my log files for one year now. I think everything is configured correctly and I have the latest version of your plugin. I also am still using the last version of wordpress before Guttenburg. I am not ready to switch over yet.

    Hi guys,

this issue is really strange and I’m not being able to reproduce this in any way.

I try to give you some hints, I hope they can help you to solve this issue:

    1. Go into your Facebook account -> Settings -> Business integrations, find the app Pixel Caffeine and remove it (don’t worry, you won’t lose anything);
    2. Go in the admin of the plugin -> General Settings
    3. Open the “Advanced Box” box at the bottom of the page
    4. Scroll down and click into the button “Reset Facebook Connection” (again, you won’t lose anything)
    5. Make a new Facebook login and confirm all permissions

Check if you can now use the custom audience page.

@antoscarface I followed the above steps and when giving access back to my FB account (after step 5) I received this error:

    Hey @joelkay ,

unfortunately, that it’s an error occurred this weekend with the Facebook API. I’m working on that and I hope to fix within this day with a new version of the plugin.

Fixed @joelkay ! Please check and let me know, thank you for your patience! ??

Then, we can continue with the original issue of this topic.

@antoscarface ok I followed the steps again and unfortunately am still getting the log error

I am trying this solution @antoscarface. Sorry I don’t understand, what does this mean?
“5) Make a new Facebook login and confirm all permissions”
I no longer have pixel caffeine as a business integration. Do I need to add that back in? Or is that what your step 5 takes care of?
    Thanks
    Matt
