Please Do Not Bump Repeated Fields Again!

    I have been waiting for the “promised” Repeated Fields to be added to PODS for quite some time. On several releases, PODS has bumped this important feature until the “next” release. Please don’t bump this again!

    For those of you who don’t know what Repeated Fields are:

    Repeated Fields allow you to create a particular field type and the client can add multiple entries to that field. For example, if you are created an customer contact POD, we need the ability to create a phone number structure such as: Home, Work, Work2, Cell, etc
    The same would apply to email addresses: Personal, Work, Family, etc.

    As of now, I am having to hack this functionality. Which should be so unnecessary.

    The great news is the whole family is healthy again, I’m looking forward to knocking this out as soon as I can get 2.5 merged into the 3.0 codebase. There’s lots of goodies and optimizations I’d love to bring in.

    We’re hoping for a productive February so that we can open up things to a beta. But the best I can do is say we’re working on things and that we’re also coordinating a new announcement for something that should help us put even more focus on it.

    Thanks for the reply, Scott. We’re moving away from Advanced custom fields and going to use PODS instead. We’re working on a site now that has a lot of flexible content areas on pages. Some of those have areas where the client may need to add some more “rows”. so that’s why we’re all hot to have the repeater fields ??

    Great to hear it’s coming soon! Pods is an amazing, and the help you get on the forums is first class. I know many appreciate all the hard work that’s going into getting this next version out there.
