Also, when I try to edit things on the backend like switching from double to single opt-in or setting whether or not I want to send the welcome email under opt-in settings…nothing saves!! Is there a “save” button somewhere that I’m missing?

Feel free to give the plugin another shot. We’ll be rolling out a re-write which has a number of feature enhancements that you won’t find in most other plugins here in the repo.
