    Hi,
    Thanks for alerting me to this issue, I just fixed the Readme.

    I’m actually baffled as to why 4.6.1 is listed as the current version since I didn’t release it, the last released version is still 4.6…
    I’ll have to talk to the WordPress support about this.

    Strange… since the readme and the changelog say both 4.6.1. Is it safe to download and upgrade or is it kind of beta version?

    Yes, it’s safe to update, I test all changes before pushing code to WordPress.
    I just wanted to do more changes before releasing 4.7 to spare people doing multiple updates in a short timespan.
