Please give me some feedback on my new website!

    I started a blog about traveling and wannahaves 2 months ago. I’m very curious what you think of Looselab.

    Unfortunately, the copy is in Dutch. But maybe you have some feedback on the design? Hope to hear from you.

  • I really like your site, it has a cool feel and the way the posts link to pages is very nice. Also, how did you make the sliding pictures at the top, did you use a plug in?

    There is a lot to like about both the design and the content.

    My first criticism would be that you should do something about the mix of languages.

    All of the content is in Dutch, but you haven’t changed the English phrases in the theme, i.e. “Latest entries”, “Older”, “What do you think?”.

    To me that just looks odd and inconsistent.

    oozes coolness! loving the typography!

    Agree with @johnpope.

    I think it’s cool. Like the simplicity. Don’t like the ads. Personally I don’t care for the typeface it looks messy but that’s a subjective thing I guess. A search filter might be good once your content builds up.
