Please Help!

  • Hello,

    I uploaded what appears to have been a broken theme to my new wordpress website via the admin portal.

    The theme did not work when activated. I then logged out and now cannot access my admin login portal. When I try accessing my domain.com/wp-admin page I just get a screen with this error:

  • Yup. Hopefully your host has a file manager? That’s usually easiest. If not…. you’ll need to learn ftp (filezilla is free and easy)

    Once you’ve used either method to connect to your server navigate to:

    wp-content folder, then themes folder

    delete Avenue Theme folder

    That’ll get you back in

    If it’s a bought theme, unfortunately we can’t help.

    Reason being we don’t have, nor can we get, access to the code

    So for bought themes the best way is to take it up with whatever author / shop you got the theme from.

    Possibly it hasn’t been updated for 3.2 yet? Some themes are popping up that need to be fixed for 3.2

    Sorry bout that, but glad you got back into your site at least
