Please help!

    Hi,

    I’ve recently set up a website and the support from the chap who sold me the theme has been pretty rubbish so any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated.

    I need to do two things:

    1 – I wish to insert 3 images into the side bar which when clicked on take me to three different pages where i can write explanatory copy about the site. Do i need a plug in to do this? Is there another way?

    2 – I would like to link my posts to specific pages so that if i create a post that appears under one of my headers, it will appear on that page and also the home page. Is this a theme thing or is there an easy way of linking posts to specific pages?

    Sorry for asking what are probably easy questions! What can i say, i’m a novice just trying to get to grips with things.

  • 1, I think the easiest thing to do is to just use text widgets with a little <a href="https://www.blabla.com"><img src="https://filedirectory.jpg"></a>

    2, This question is not clear to me. You can publish posts on the index and they will be available through other ways too, such as the category, tag, author or date archives. Publishing a post on a page is possible, but not easily.

    If you are a novice, it will probably be easier to install the image widget plugin and use image widgets in your sidebar:
