PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I want to post something from another site. When I do do this, it automatically goes to my home page then to my other page. Example, if I was posting a you tube video and wanted it strictly under my “Video” section of my website, it would go to my “home” page then my “video” page. I want it directly to the “video page” only…how do I do that?
    Which plugin do I use? What should I do?

    Question 2
    How do I write an article for my home page and then after 50 some words..have “to continue reading article…”and then have the user go directly to my page that it is listed fully on? Example, I am writing a blog about a basketball player being traded. I write only a few short words in my story and then have the reader follow a link to another page on my website, to finish the story. Going from the home page to my “NBA Basketball” How do I do this? I am new to wrodpress and I am trying to learn it all but for now I need help!!!!

  • Not sure what you’re saying for part 1, but for part 2, you could probably use the <!--more--> tag after the words that you want to display, and then continue writing, and when the post is displayed on your main site, readers have to click ‘read more’ to see the rest.

    So this would be what goes in your post:

    Introduction text
<!--more-->
The rest of the text

    Calm down ?? and start reading the Docs is the best way to learn. They will show you how. Some folks have expended a lot of effort to write good documentation. Some of it may not be what you need, but some of it is perfect for your needs. And the more you know, the easier it will be for you to post your NBA scoops.
