Please help! Can't get JQUERY NIVO SLIDER to work…
-
Hi. My name is Paul. I operate a small independent entertainment site called Paulzeye.com. I am in the process of redesigning my site and would like to use the following WORDPRESS template: https://movieshow.themesnack.net/but the creator of the template does not want to help me resolve an issue – an issue that has caused me a great deal of pain. It involves the “jquery nivo slider” function, which is a function that she has included within the template itself. I’m hoping you guys can help me to get the slider work. I cannot get pictures added to the slider. This is holding me back. I’ve spent more than 15 hours trying to resolve the issue and the creator simply won’t budge nor help.
Here’s my site URL: https://www.paulzeye.com The “jquery nivo slider” is the white space that appears over the generic “hello world” post on the main page. All the creator offers as support is this message in theme options in WordPress: “This theme includes jQuery Nivo Slider. To work, you must create a new category with name FEATURED, and include your images in a custom field named as nivoimage. I suggest you use 490×280 images only. Thumbnails are not automatically added to your post. You must use your images as “featured images” when you upload any image (this theme supports WP thumbnails feature).”
At this point I’m very desperate. I’ve spent so much time trying to figure this out. I haven’t been able to move forward because of this dilemma. If someone out there can help, I’d forever be grateful. I’ve run out of options. I don’t know who to turn to for a solution to this issue.
Please, anyone, help me. Thanks for your time. Have a good day.
Sincerely,
Paul.
