Please help, can’t login to admin! “The authors have deleted this blog.” O oh!

Hey guys,

Really need some help here please. I’ve had a blog running at https://www.adropofsyrup.com/blog for a while now which has been fine. I also had another wordpress account so I could use my gravatar on my blog. Now, today I decided I would try and secure the address https://www.adropofsyrup.wordpress.com, so the blog could be accessed using that address too. Before creating the address I had assigned it to my blog in the settings as the alternative “WordPress” address in the Settings (because I though it could already be accessed using that address). After discovering I couldn’t access it using that address I decided to create it.

Once I had created the new domain name is when things went BAD. The first thing that happened is that I lost all CSS, theme etc. from the blog, but the content is all there still :S. The next problem was that it wouldn’t let me login to the admin panel on my blog .. WTF! I thought if I could get back into the Settings and change the “WordPress” address back to https://www.adropofsyrup.com/blog, everything would be sorted, but no. I could only login to the new domain I had created, which didn’t give me access to anything. Deciding that the new blog/domain I had created was the problem I deleted it.

This has not solved the problem, but maybe made things worse. My original blog is still there with all of the content at https://www.adropofsyrup.com/blog. But now when I try to login to the admin panel I get this lovely message:

“The authors have deleted this blog. The content is no longer available.”

What a beauty! ??

Anyway, I have no idea how the hell to get back into the admin panel now, I’ve tried going through admin.php and wp-login.php but no success.

Something I have considered is that it may be because both blogs were assigned to the same email address? But I would have thought it wouldn’t be a problem.

I hope there is a way to gain access it again so I don’t have to create a new blog!
