• Hi,

    I hope somebody can help. First, I should explain that I’m a bit of a beginner, and as such, would be grateful if somebody could walk me through any response you have – I’m not very technical!

    Basically, my blog is redirecting to: https://www.theoraclespeaks.net/google8d2a6baeb1933a7e/ (my url should be: https://www.theoraclespeaks.net)

    I have no idea why it’s doing this – I attempted to verify the blog via Google Webmaster last night, and somehow this has happened.

    Can anyone help??

    I’m hosting through Bluehost, if that helps.

    Regards,

    Jon

  • I’m not sure what you’ve done, but your site is coded to redirect to /google8d2a6baeb1933a7e/

    See the following curl results:

    $ curl -il theoraclespeaks.net
    HTTP/1.0 301 Moved Permanently
    Date: Thu, 10 Jun 2010 14:12:28 GMT
    Server: Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS) mod_ssl/2.2.15 0.9.8l DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635
    X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.13
    Location: /google8d2a6baeb1933a7e/

    Whatever you did needs to be undone.

    Google generally wants verification via a CNAME from something like google8d2a6baeb1933a7e.theoraclespeaks.net to ghs.google.com. CNAMEs can be setup in the Advanced DNS Zone Editor.
