Please Help: Editing Theme

  • i have edited my theme template before in the past no problem. i am running WordPress 2

    today i tried to edit the theme… the Left.php to be exact.
    when i click save here is the error:

    ********
    Forbidden
    You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/theme-editor.php on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    ********

    if you can please help me i would greatly appreciate it.

    i decided to erase everything and start over… seems java script is no longer acceptable? once i removed any reference to java script i was able to edit.

    confusing….as i have edited before with java included.
