Please help >Problem with setting a static page

My theme has a Home button in the navbar and as I creating a new page and I name the page “GOLF” so the WP create a new page with the a button text GOLF in the navbar next to HOME button .
I have select GOLF as for my frontpage static page .
now I have HOME button and GOLF button with same content and both links to my main domain name when click on them.
and I think this gives duplicate content which google does not like it.
how can I get rid of home button ?
any sloution for this?
