please help. I ruined my cat's website

Ok. So all was well with autofocus pro this morning at stuffralphkills. I looked at my dashboard and noticed an update for thematic. The update caused some odd spacing in the grid layout on the homepage and Home appeared in the top menu. I googled a fix for the Home menu item, added some code to the wrong functions.php file and lost access. Just had a white screen with the errors. I realized I had to replace the theme to get access again.

Anyway, I ftp’d in and trashed the autofocus and thematic folder. I then uploaded AF pro 2.06 and now the layout is completely different. The grid is gone, the posts are listed one after another and Home is still there in the menu. I have no idea what to do to fix it. I’ve run through the options and changed a few things to see the results. I can’t seem to get the grid back though. I realize it’s no longer dependent on Thematic. Can someone please help me or point me in the right direction? I attached a pic of what the site used to look like. I understand I’ll need to go back in and style things a bit to get it back to what I had since thematic is gone now. If you google the site there is a cached copy to see what it looked like
