Please help! Images/Some JPGs not working in WordPress

  • This is really strange but, I just upgraded from .5 to 3.8.1 within wordpress (not the from the Domain).

    I can display some JPGs but can’t add new ones images are broken and when bring up the website and display properties on the broken link the filesize displays as 0 but, yet the source folders display the file with it’s normal size on the websize (as rendered to the public), the location of the file is https://hrxxxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/newhomelogo.jpg but, yet I am managing this in wordpress. I am so confused can some offer any advice?

    I can offer payment for your help I really need help as I am new to this tool.
