    while editing function.php
    the error appears like: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/content/98/11603698/html/wp-content/themes/revolution-code-blue/functions.php on line 125

    i am not able to edit the php file while clicking on any thing the msg comes at my window like: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/content/98/11603698/html/wp-content/themes/revolution-code-blue/functions.php on line 125

    what should i do? i do not have back up.
    please help me step by step how to get back

    if i remove worldpress and again install it on my site then the problem can be solve or not?

    i am not worried if i want to start from first bcoz my site is new one

    please help me

  • Take the backup of the function.php file and upload a fresh copy of the file.

    before editing the function.php file i have copied the code and stored at my word doc.
    but how to upload i dont know i am new i do not have that much of knowledge

    Try downloading the functions.php file by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Reverse your edits and re-upload the file.

    Or download a copy of your theme and upload the functions.php file by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    You need to use an FTP client such as FileZilla to upload files. Here’s a Codex article on how to do it: FTP Clients

    i have copied the code and stored at my word doc.

    You also should not use Word for working with code – it can corrupt it. Use a plain text editor.
