please help me – ive backed up but what do i do now?

i backed up because i was installing a new plug in and somehow managed to break the site.
This may sound stupid but how do i get it back to how it was from the backed up version?

my theme isnt working anymore since i installed the new plugin – which i have since uninstalled. My posts arent showing on the front page https://www.hartigansconstruction.com
