How to uncapitalise letters

  • Hello!

    I need a little help, how to change the capital letters in my web site to – NORMAL?

    I mean:

    “UNTERNEHMEN” change to “Unternehmen” (only the first letter in capital, not all!)

    But in content heading and the content right above, I ned to change it also.. !! ALL THE WEB SITE! Because it is really annoying :/ …

    By the way: when I make a category, I have some issues? why? – I mean it is connected with the following: imagine the bar:

    | CONTENT | and it goes like this: | CONTE|NT

  • Check your theme’s stylesheet. Most browsers now have built in developer tools. Right click on the web-page on the title in question and select “inspect-element” (or however your browser calls it – in Internet Explorer you will need to hit F12 to bring up the developer tools). With these tools you can see what styles are being applied. I have a feeling that your title has a style applied to it something like the CSS “text-transform: uppercase” property. Then use a CSS plugin to override it in your theme.

    I’m not sure what you’re describing for your second issue. Do you have a URL you can share so we can see it?

    Btw: Can I add BULLETPOINTS like being SLIDES in the Rightbar or in the left bar of my page? tnx

    The widely used Jetpack plugin has this functionality. There’s also https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/scripts-n-styles/ and https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-custom-css/

    Try them out on a development site and figure out which one would work best for you.

    Not sure what you’re asking about bulletpoints. Yes you can style

    • tags to use bullet points as their counter but I’m not sure what the “SLIDES in the Rightbar or the left bar of my page” mean…
