Please help! Search widget not working

    Ok so I’ve tried to find this answer on the web and am feeling a little silly as I’m sure there’s a simple answer. How do I get the search widget working on my website. Do I need to insert text into the title, caption or description fields of the files I upload to the media library or create tags? Thanks in advance.

    Hi @sharon25,

    The widget should work once it’s added to a widget area, it’s good to set a title for it. This can be set in Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets. You should also make sure that the widgets area is enabled on the desired page, from the theme options (Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Layout).

    I’ve noticed that you are using the Full-Width template on this page, https://lifeofrileyprints.com/. The sidebar is disabled on these pages. By choosing the Default Template, it should work.
