  • The last part of your question, about the “weird characters”, is not related to WP Super Cache — that’s from “AddThis” (that orange + icon used for sharing) – it adds this code to links in order to track shares for statistics. The code is harmless.

    Not sure about WPSC and what you did or what’s not working. The site loads fine for me.

    Site is back up. The plugin does not deactivate even if you click deactivate. Had to manually remove cached pages.
