I have the Fullscreen theme (v2.4.4) from Graph Paper Press installed, and just upgraded to WP 3.1.3 today. About the same time I installed the “mp3-jplayer” plugin. Now my homepage thumbnails will NOT work no matter what I try. I have deactivated all plugins one by one, deleted the mp3-jplayer altogether, removed and reinstalled the theme, redid the WP update, re-attached the featured images and published the posts, all to no avail. It was working fine up until today. The only situation I can gather is that maybe there is a new jQuery conflict but I don’t know enough about that to solve the problem. All other site functionality seems to be working and the paths to the thumbnail images are good. I have tried Firebug to nail down the problem but I am not getting anything I know how to work with.

The only solid notice I have gotten is “wp-includes/general-template.php:372 – The home option is deprecated for the family of bloginfo() functions. Use the url option instead.” However I don’t know if this is related to the thumbnail issue.

ANY assistance at all would be much appreciated, this site is for a client who is extremely anxious to have the site ready…

Desperate to solve, thanks in advance

Forgot to mention, while troubleshooting I saw that changing the cache folder permissions to 777 might help – there was no cache folder anywhere so I created one at root level and gave it 777.

Before breaking, the thumbnails on the home page had a mouseover effect (see https://demo.graphpaperpress.com/fullscreen/), which is why I suspect a jQuery problem. Even if I can’t get that working again, I cannot get any image at all to appear on the home page so any workaround would do.

Once again, any help at all would be great.

Gah, just tried a manual plugin reset and now most of my upload folders appear to be empty. I can see everything cached in the .hcc.thumbs folder created by GoDaddy but that’s it ?? What would cause my files to get erased?

Reloaded, relinked, republished – no dice. Anyone??? I just need to get SOMETHING to show on the homepage.

I had the same problem. For now I solved reinstalling the version 3.0. I have found that reinstalling the template version 3.1.3 ElegantTheme my fault.
The error occurs when I need to upload a file using the control panel.
I hope you fix the version 3.2, while it is necessary to leave 3.0.

Thank you mariogalacho, that worked for me! I had to roll back to 3.0, reinstall my original plugins, and then do the updates to 3.1.3 and update the plugins and all is now working. Also deleted all image files and previous posts and re-uploaded/recreated. FORTUNATELY this is a newer site so there was not a massive amount of content yet. Appreciate the help!
