PLEASE HELP URGENT website not loading and cannot make change

  • I was in functions.php and i put in a code to customize the “read more” tag. I hit update and now my webpage is blank. im trying to make changes and the actual wordpress page im signed into is blank unless i hit the back button i dont know what to do please help

    Unless you’ve made more changes to your theme’s functions.php file than just this one, I suggest you FTP the functions.php file from the original theme zip file up to the webserver, overwriting the one you changed that is not working. Just upload the one file, not the entire zip file contents. If you no longer have the original zip file, download the theme again from wherever you first downloaded it from.
