• Please help! The visual editor toolbar is not showing when I go to edit my WordPress pages and posts. This is for https://www.KellyHarrington.com

I am using the same version of WordPress and the same theme on a variety of other sites and the toolbar is showing on those so this is confusing.

I have read through the other posts on this issue and have already tried these things:
    Cleared my cache
    Deleted all plugins
    Reinstalled WordPress version 3.3.1 (twice)

I’m using Firefox 9.0.1 for my web browser. My theme is Thesis 1.8.2

Don’t know what to do. Can’t edit my pages. Any help appreciated!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I have tried switching to a different theme AND deleting and reinstalling the Thesis theme and neither of these brought the toolbar back. I have deleted all plugins and also went into the file manager to ensure they are completely deleted. None of this has worked to bring back the toolbar.

I did notice that my file manager (on my web host) as a PHP filed called: .wysiwygPro_preview_0ee9202c34465d2b5ed8822771bb9aa8.php

This does not show up in the file manager on my other WordPress sites (where the toolbar is working / showing just fine). Not sure if that has anything to do with anything?

    Still need help.

Did you try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
