    I just installed pixelstats on my private-hosted site, but there is nothing going on in the statistics. Dead.

    The “Install” page on pixelstats download page in wordpress provides me with this;

    “To show off your Stats add the following code to your WordPress Template code:

    ■Unique views: <?php print(get_pixelstats()); ?>
    ■Total views: <?php print(get_pixelstats(false)); ?>”

    I have been looking all over google for an explanation to where this elusive template code is. I just can’t find it in WordPress and no one seems to have a problem finding it! It’s like the whole world knows, but nobody is telling!

    Could anyone please give me a step by step explanation in how to make this plugin work! It would be so much appreciated! I’m going bald, pulling my hear over this!

  • Hi There,

    It may appear that you are trying to access your WordPress templates. You can do so by going to wp-admin section then go to

    Appearence > Editor

    You will then see a list of templates.

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers!

    Thanks for replying HostingUmbrella, but finding the editor is not my core problem. My problem is that i can’t find the specific “Template code” that pixelstats so losely refers to, to make their plugin work. People seem to be using it and giving it stars, but I just can’t figure out how to install it. And there is no more ingoing explanation to be found!

    you add the above suggested code to you theme’s footer.php
