• For the whole week, I’ve been bugged with hackers infecting files. One of the files which was hit was wp-config.

I’ve been weary and tired, and I didn’t pay enough attention.

    I deleted the file.

How do I get it back?

I already tried getting the wp-config of another installation, and entering the DB info in it, but that doesn’t work. Last backup is already two weeks old ??

I can actually still get into the back-end…

edit: no, I cannot…it was cached.

Have you made any big configuration changes in the past 2 weeks? If not if you can just get the wp-config.php from the backup that should have the proper information. That file doesn’t tend to change at all over the life of the install.

I agree — that two week old file should still be good.
