Please, how to do it?

First of all, thanks for this plugin. I have been using it for several years and I am happy with it.

I would like to ask you something that I can’t find myself.

Personally, I prefer to replace the file directly.

So I checked the box : “Checking this setting will replace image files with WebP when adding new media, and delete the original image file. (…) All URLs in the content are also replaced.”

But I’d still like to keep the .jpg, and without it being inserted into the media gallery.

Indeed, if I uncheck this box, I effectively have both. But I don’t want both to appear in the gallery. I want to keep the original file (in .jpg for example) on the server but only see the .webp in the gallery.

Could you tell me how to do this or what line in your code to put as a comment to keep the original jpg without saving it in the gallery?

It would save my life for what I want to do with these images.
