Please include date in changelogs

Ideally this would be built in to the www.ads-software.com plugin database, so that a date is auto-generated and displayed when a new version is released. Until then, I bug everyone to manually add it. ??

I presume you are talking about the date/time at which a given release was first made available in the WordPress repository.
Insofar as urgent releases might be made the same day as the preceding one, or a team might evolve towards a continual deployment approach, I suggest that times be included, too.

Looks great, @wfdave, though @josiah-s-carberry makes a good point that you might as well also include the time. There might be more than one release in a day, if some emergency arose. While you’re at it, it would be good to include the time zone (or just UTC).

I’m glad to report that all changelogs have datestamps now!

We opted for a timeless datestamp because all of the current releases occurred on separate days.

If there happens to be multiple releases on the same day (unlikely), we may change our stance on that in the future!
