Please initiate HTTPS connections with TLS 1.2

    I have a new WP website (within 30 Days) and updated to WP 4.7.
    I’ve installed WooCommerce, and your Stripe add-on
    I am hosted on GoDaddy Linux server, with PHP 5.3 and just bought GoDaddy’s SHA-2 SSL Certif.
    Called GoDaddy – they tell me error is not them.
    I am in Stripe Test Mode.

    I get the error message:
    Stripe no longer supports API requests made with TLS 1.0. Please initiate HTTPS connections with TLS 1.2

    I’ve read forums.
    I’ve tried 2 other Stripe plugins (Striper gives same error, 2nd plugin just doesn’t recognize cc input)
    I’ve clear my browser cache just in case.

    How can this error be resolved? I’m out of ideas.

    Hi @biundosalon,

    Can you try installing the TLS 1.2 Compatibility Test. That will allow you to check if your server environment is set up to be using TLS 1.2.

    If that plugin says that your site is properly configured for TLS 1.2, can you please open a ticket by going to https://www.WooCommerce.com, then click on Support > Helpdesk > Create a ticket > Free plugins.. Please make sure to include a temporary Administrator username and password with your message, so that our team can take a look at your site.
