Please install Ghostscript! Warning

  • Hi

    I’m building a site using MAMP PRO and have installed Ghostscript and ImagMagick but when trying to Activate the plugin I get this message:

    Please install “GhostScript” before activate the plugin!

    Further investigation I also get this: Array ( ) / $ver: 127 / gs version:

    I know this may be a MAMP PRO related query but I cannot find a solution anywhere?!

    Any advice would be most welcome as this plugin looks great.

    If your new site on the strictly same server, this result might be a bit strange. (But I have no clue.)

    If you just mean that you are using the same provider, there is a possibility that the Imagick has a problem in the relationship with GhostScript.

    If your provider support GS, it might be better to ask them for help.

    Anyway I’m sorry that I couldn’t be of more help. If I find something i missed, I will post it.

    Hi! I’m trying to install into a local Windows machine running XAMPP and do get the very same error:
    “Please install “GhostScript” before activate the plugin!”

    No further information.

    I have previously installed GhostScript and Image Magick.

    What am I doing wrong?

    I am having the same issue.

    I know I have ImageMagick installed because I used it recently on a Rails project, and I even tried reinstalling it both with OSX installer and the Brew… but it’s still giving me the following error.

    “Please install “ImageMagick” and “GhostScript” before activate!”

    Anyone find a solution for this yet? Thanks!

    Maybe your apache can’t access ghostscript.
