    Please keep the old editor. Make this new editor as an option or separate plugin.
    Everyone I know is working around this instead of using it. Only new users use it, and after a while they switch.

  • It’s expected that Gutenberg will have easy opt-out available rather than be opt-in, but opt-out is already reasonably simple & effective via the Classic Editor plugin.

    It should be the other way around. Gutenberg should be an opt-in, by a plugin, for those who (for reasons that escape me) want to use it. Meanwhile, the majority of developers could just keep using the current editor.
