• UPDATE: Friday, March 20 2020
The newest update to Flexia, which I might add took forever to come out, has now officially been released for 4 months – Still no changelog available, and after testing the latest version, the theme continues to disappoint.

If any bugs were fixed, then the devs completely glossed over the main ones that have caused this themes major pitfalls.

Sadly, the blog still has a paging bug which does not allow the page to load the link to show more blog posts.

The menus “aesthetic” was changed instead of addressing a minor bug with the “toggle feature” to drop the menu down when viewing on mobile devices, and the new menu looks horrible and no longer matches the look of the theme anymore.

The customizer still has issues with saving certain elements such as the notification bar at the top screen.

It seems more than anything simple CSS alterations were made rather than addressing core issues in the code.

Flexia shows amazing promise. I purchased the Pro version and modded it via a child theme as the theme offered the aesthetic and features I was looking for but stylistically it wasnt up to snuff for the look I was after. Unfortunately however, it receives very little updates, regardless of opening tickets and citing numerous bugs in the themes framework. It appears that their Elementor addons seem to be the primary focus right now, which is unfortunate as Flexia is a great theme.

As I’m looking to open an e-commerce store very soon, security and reliability of bug updates is vital so I will likely be dumping Flexia Pro for something like Ocean now sadly, but only because the lack of support and limited updates to the theme. Maybe things will change later on and Flexia will get the attention it deserves. I will keep checking back to wpdeveloper for updates…
