Please make Free Download painless :)

Guys, I love EDD. It has been working great for the last month in production. I would love to have a way to offer a (painless-free) free download to my visitors without having them fill out any forms. Are you guys planning this functionality at some point in the future? I tried the available plugIn “Easy Digital Downloads – Free Download” but unfortunately it does not work and it looks like the developer is not updating it. Please let me know if this is in the horizon. Thank you much for the great work.
