    Hello,
Like others, the plug-in stopped working for me about 4 weeks ago. June 28th was the last time it published to my Apple news channel. I can publish from iCloud, but not from the CMS. Here is one of the articles that won’t publish because of the following error:

There has been an error with the API. Please make sure your API settings are correct and try again: Invalid_Document

I have tried reinstalling, changing the API key and secret after getting new ones from the publisher web app on iCloud, I’m not sure where to turn to next.

Reinstalling and changing your API key/secret is totally unnecessary and won’t resolve this issue. An INVALID_DOCUMENT error means there is an error somewhere in the content. Have you used the News Preview tool to debug this? It will give you the exact item in the content that’s problematic and then we can help you troubleshoot further if required.

    Thanks.

I haven’t. I’ll need to get a hold of a Mac. So just drag the file into the window of the preview tool?

Correct and there is documentation on Apple’s site about proper usage of the tool. Thanks.

I got this error when the featured image was a .gif. Swapped it out for a .png and published without issue. Thanks for the plugin, btw. I would be months away from a solid workflow without it. Keep up the good work!

    imthemobileguru,

Version 1.1.6 releases on Monday which will provide more descriptive error messages directly in WordPress. You can test again then and it should allow you to provide more information.
