Please remove ‘Add Advanced iframe’ button from next to the ‘Insert Media’ button in the classic editor. It’s not the right place for it. Put it in with the mce button toolbar.
    Thanks!

Why should this place be better?

All the other plugins’ functionalities are at the top of the visual editor tab for adding various things to posts. One has the choice of showing them there or not as you wish using the controls in the plugin Advanced Editor Tools (previously TinyMCE Advanced).

There is no way of hiding the ‘Add Advanced iframe’ button from where you have placed it.

That’s not really acceptable. No other plugin does it. Surely there’s some sort of WP guidlines on this?

You can easily hide this button on the options tab “Display options” -> Editor button.
There you can even configure it.

Not sure why including one plugin into another plugin should be better then using the default way WordPress offers. I have several plugins that does it exactly the same way. e.g. Yasr Shortcode, Shortcode Factory, FooGallery, Add Document…

    See https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/hooks/media_buttons/
This is the official WordPress documentation.

The various settings are quite complicated and I completely missed this option, mostly because I wasn’t expecting a control over the button was not looking for one.

Missed an ‘and’! … and was not looking for one.
