Please move away from the dated Big5 and use Unicode instead

    I have been testing out if Simply Static would work for my website (still WIP) and unfortunately I found out that it won’t (fortunately I have figured this out so early on though).

    Page titles that have Traditional Chinese characters all ended up as gibberish for their folder name. It seems Simply Static is using Big5 to encode the Chinese characters, but Big5 cannot be correctly displayed in Windows. It is very dated and I would recommend Simply Static to adopt Unicode asap instead.

    In simplystatic plugins path, you can edit “src/class-ss-url-extractor.php” this file, like above link’s green line.
