I just upgraded your plugin – which I have been using happily for years – to the latest version 0.9.0 and it has broken all custom post type links and removed taxonomies from the (new) admin screen.

PLEASE POST A WARNING / CAUTION on the plugin page until there is a fix.

I managed to rollback to v8.5 and FORTUNATELY its working now (thank you for leaving the old data in the database!)… but the stress, and trying ti save face with the client was a bit much.

  • Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I tried that earlier and didn’t have any luck. I’ve since rolled back to version 0.9.5 to get the site working again. I’ll keep trying solutions on the dev server, but I just haven’t had any luck with the other methods I’ve found in the forums :/ I’ll give that method another shot on the dev server, but hopefully there will be a patch out soon.

The biggest thing is that I’m not quite sure why some people are still failing to get the permalinks working again, so I can’t say if or when there will be a patch until I know why it’s not working :\

Believe me when I say I’m the most frustrated from this ??

Arkadaemos, once you get the dev site up and running and attempting to use the 1.0.4 version, would you be willing to send some data from it so that I can try and identify any discrepancies?

I cooked up this plugin this weekend https://cl.ly/2J2Y1d3G0i1O which is meant to gather pre-1.0.x settings, post-1.0.x settings, queried for post type/taxonomy objects from the new settings, and some other misc data to help me debug. It’ll spit it all out into a textarea for easy copy/paste in an email or pastebin or whatever you prefer.

Understand your frustration. I imagine this has eaten up most of your time this past week or so. Hang in there.

Let me setup the dev server with the new version and install that plugin. Hopefully this will help resolve the issue. I’ll let you know when it’s up and running again.

1.0.5 is pending release and could use testers. Hoping it fixes more peoples issues, and doesn’t introduce more ??

Anyone here still having issues with the latest version of the plugin? Let me know so I can see what may be able to be done for you.
