Please provide a valid email address – get error on MC4WP form submission

  • Previously the error at debug window is:- {“type”:”https://developer.mailchimp.com/documentation/mailchimp/guides/error-glossary/”,”title”:”API Key Invalid”,”status”:401,”detail”:”Your request did not include an API key.”,”instance”:”4c13da52-f036-4256-994d-6dfaa9f7d343″}

    After that I changed the API key with user(owner) And after that the error at debug window:-
    Now the message is -> WARNING: Registration Form > kl@de**.com is already subscribed to the selected list(s)

    And in both the cases the error at front end is – Error: Please provide a valid email address.

    Hey @neha30rvsolutions,

    The new error just means that you have not enabled “Update Existing users” in the form settings so the user submission would not be sent to MailChimp.

    i have enabled that Now there is no error in debug window but there is still an error in the front end – Error: Please provide a valid email address.

    I don’t get any error at all, for me the submit button doesn’t work.
    How are you adding these fields? I recommend using the buttons above the form builder over copying code form somewhere else.

    Can you insert the submit button via the form builder and try again?
