This shortcode addon will only work with The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe.

We do not offer support for The Events Calendar plugin by Modern Tribe.

The shortcode does not display a calendar view – it is only for a list view.

Further development of this plugin is not contingent on donations, but they are a nice incentive.

  • I just updated the plugin and now my lists are gone. Any suggestions?

Can you deactivate and delete the shortcode plugin then install it again and see if that fixes your issues?

Can you provide a link to your site?
Can you provide the shortcode you are using?
If you are using multiple categories please use cats plural with an s.

    Known conflict:

The shortcode does not display past events when https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/post-types-order/ is in use.

Hi there, I have just installed this plug-in in order to list 2 categories on one page:

    https://eiha.co.uk/eiha-education-program/

But it is just repeating the first list. I have used these 2 shortcodes:

    [ecs-list-events cat=’coaching-course-l1’ limit=’5′]
    [ecs-list-events cat=’coaching-course-l2’ limit=’5′]

But it is just showing [ecs-list-events cat=’coaching-course-l1’ limit=’5′] twice.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks, – Max.

Max check that you aren’t using curly quotes after the category names

Hey Ruth – ideal – thank you!

    That’s perfect. I switched to:

    [ecs-list-events cat=”coaching-course-l1″ limit=’5′]

    Thanks for your help.
